It has certainly been a long while since I last made a full face look blogpost here. And I have to say that I kinda missed it. From posting one or two looks a week to almost none was pretty drastic, but I do feel like I have found my passion for makeup back again. Or at least a little for now.
Last weekend I stumbled upon my pretty Too Faced Sweet Peach palette again and just sat down for a couple of minutes and made this soft dusty rose look. Normally I tend to go for super bright colours and looks with big harsh eyeliner. But for this one I wanted to keep it soft and gentle with just eyeshadows, some brow pomade and mascara.
To balance my super bright nailart designs out a bit, I deceided to make a somewhat darker makeup look this week. I know it has been ages since I last made a makeup look and I did miss it for quite a while. For some reason I didn’t feel like playing around with makeup for a couple of weeks but today I am back :)
It has been a long time since I last made a new look or made a new makeup post here on the blog. I have been working on a lot of videos and nailart designs, and I have to admit that I prefer making art like that instead of makeup looks. But I did like the outcome of this look. And eventhough it is the last look I made in a couple of weeks, I don’t feel the need to make a ton of looks anymore :) I would rather make new makeup posts and looks when I feel like making them, instead of posting just to post and not being happy with it.
On a totally other note I wanted to share this today:
Here in The Netherlands we live in a free country and we should celebrate that in our own way. Commemorate all war victims today, no matter what age and no matter where you come from. We are one.
It has been such a hectic week, there aren’t even words that can describe how I feel at the moment. But since I made this look last Friday I did wanted to share it with you guys. Even if it is only a distraction from everything that has been going on.
Eventhough this last full week has been a rollercoaster, I made this complete look from base to mascara in just 5 to 10 minutes. And it is my first time actually trying out a graphic liner design like this.
