Column – Why I Am A Blogger (+7 Years & Counting!).

There are times that I get asked why I am a blogger, why I started blogging in the first place and how it is that after +7 years of blogging I am still doing it. People say blogging is out of style and I say IDGAF to those people with a big smile :D

To me blogging and making YT videos is something I love to do in my spare time. It gives me energy and I can be my crazy creative self with makeup and nailart. Yes, it can be super busy and sometimes even pressuring in life with a fulltime job, a household and a social life you have to maintain. But that doesn’t mean you should stop doing the things you love. Who cares if people think blogging is out of style, I do whatever makes me happy and so should you!

Blogging is for me personally a big hobby which got kinda out of hand. As it is for most long time bloggers I guess. I don’t blog for the extra money I might earn from time to time. I actually have a normal job in real life to pay my own bills. I don’t blog because I want to become instafamous or a YT celeb. I blog and make videos just for the fun of it. I like to entertain people and make gorgeous nails and looks. Maybe even teach some beginning guys and girls some tricks or inspire some other artists. I would love people to read my blogposts and columns and actually feel just a little bit better about themselves. I love to lift people up. Because what an awesome world it would be if people were more kind and less hateful to eachother.

And yes, I do get the random hate emails, even threats, nasty comments and so on. But frankly I can’t be bothered since there are so much people actually liking my work and who look forward to another post I wrote or another video I made. Being negative to someone is just bad karma, remember that in life. Karma is a big old bad bitch you know and she will always come back to bite your sorry ass :’)
