Simply said, I am a sucker for packaging, and actually a sucker for anything Urban Decay comes out with. When I was in New York a few weeks ago, on my first day being there (about 3 hours after getting of off the plane), I already ran into the nearest Sephora to throw this bad boy into my shopping basket. Curious to see what I think of it so far? Please keep on reading ;)
Apart from the packaging being fabulous and all, I do have to mention that the pigmentation is AMAZING. Like, the most soft, almost creamy like texture which just slides over your lids like butter. They also blend really well into the skin and other colours so it doesn’t take a long time before you have a stunning eye look done.
On the photo above I swatched the colours one by one with just my finger. I didn’t add any primer or base on forehand, so these are the colours just the way they are with just one fingerswipe. How gorgeous are these blue tones, stand alone the deep gold colour! There are some duochrome shadows in it which are super unique. I do still have to make some more looks with this palette, since I have only worn it during my holiday (and ofcourse forgot to make photos of it. You can see some of the looks in my NYC vlogs though!). But I will definitely make more looks in videos and blogposts about this stunner of a pallet.
If you are like me and love to rock more “in your face” colours like these, I would certainly recommend this UD After Dark palette. It has cost me $49.- when I was in NYC. It is somewhat more on the pricy side, but really worth every penny <3

Ik heb em al een tijdje, mocht em van mezelf kopen omdat ik mn scriptie gehaald had en wow, hij blijft gewoon mooi! Al vind ik wel dat hij snel vingerafdrukken achterlaat en dat als je die probeert weg te boenen dat het ontzettend stinkt, maar de inhoud blijft prachtig!
Oeps, kom er nu achter dat ie automatisch mijn achternaam heeft aangevuld, zou je mn comment willen verwijderen?

Het plastic van het palette is inderdaad vrij sterk van geur, maar gelukkig zijn het niet te oogschaduws zelf die dat geurtje met zich meebrengen!
Ja, ik las ergens dat dat te maken heeft met die holografische coating! Moeilijke afweging, het is ontzettend prachtig, maar ik vind het toch altijd een eng idee om zulke ruikende dingen op mijn huid te smeren, helemaal bij mijn ogen!
