When we were in New York 2 months ago I just couldn’t resist buying this gorgeous UD palette. I had seen lots of reviews and looks made with it and I instantly fell in love when I got my hands on it myself. Curious to see my swatches and how I feel about the palette, please keep on reading :)
The palette contains 8 gorgeous shimmery (and duochrome!) shades which blend into your skin like butter in hot milk. Each shade reminds me of a planet somewhere far away in the galaxy. If you are not a shimmery shade fan, you should definitely skip this palette!
All swatches below are made without a primer or base underneath, and are just one finger swipe of product. Look at those gorgeous colours and finishes! They are all really unique to me and add a special touch to every kind of basic everyday look. You could easily go all out as I did in my Sea Creature look, but you can also use just one shade on top of a darker simple shadow to spice up your look.
Pigmentation is AMAZING. I do have to mention that you can run into some fall out because of the shadows being so soft and shimmery. But that is easily taken care of with a soft fluffy brush or some sticky tape.
I could go on and ramble in awe about this palette for hours, but I guess you get the point. Apart from the colours being awesome, the packaging is a thing I’m a sucker for aswell. It is a really sturdy plastic with a real heavy duty mirror inside. The only thing I did miss in this palette was a UD (dual ended) brush, which usually comes with lots of their palettes. But since I already own a ton of brushes, what am I complaining about :’)
